Terms & Conditions of Sale

These terms & conditions of sale shall apply unless alternative terms and conditions have been agreed in writing with you.

Web Orders

We take web orders from both domestic consumers and trade where an order is accompanied by payment.

Returns and Refunds

Every purchase by a domestic consumer comes with a 7 day money back guarantee, effective from the date you received your goods. If you want to return goods, they must be returned to us, at your cost, in a saleable condition. This means the goods and their packaging must not be damaged. Broken seals on blister packs are deemed damaged.

For trade, we may at our discretion accept return of non-defective goods.

For both domestic consumers and trade, BesserTrim will replace any defective goods that we supply. Claims for missing or defective goods must be made within 7 days of delivery.

All returns must be made in accordance with our Returns Procedure.

Safety

Where appropriate, all machinery supplied by BesserTrim is CE marked and compliant with the EC ‘Machinery’ Directive 2006/42/EC together with all corresponding ISO and ANSI standards.

  

However, such compliance alone does not assure safety.

You, the Purchaser, must if you are provided with warning and safety instructions and operating manuals, that you read and follow carefully the warnings and information contained therein. Furthermore, that if you are a reseller or hirer of BesserTrim products, you must ensure that your customer is provided with such warning and safety instructions and operating manuals, and that they are instructed to read and follow carefully the warnings and information contained therein.

Warranty and Liability

Save for any products supplied by BesserTrim with a factory warranty and guarantee, all products supplied by BesserTrim are warranted to be fit for purpose at the time of delivery and supplied with the following guarantee:

• BesserTrim will make good by either repair or, at our option, replacement of any products (other than consumable items) which exhibit any defects which, under proper use, appear in the goods within a period of 6 months (trade) or 12 months (domestic consumer) unless otherwise stated and which are due to faulty materials, workmanship or design. Any goods replaced or repaired under this paragraph will be guaranteed on these terms for any unexpired portion of the guarantee given on the original goods.

BesserTrim will not be liable for any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), loss of goodwill or reputation or any special, indirect or consequential losses incurred pursuant to any order that you make with us. In addition, for trade customers, our total liability including in contract and tort shall be limited to the purchase price of the goods.

Law

All sale contracts are made subject to the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in this contract affects your statutory rights.

If any provision in these terms and conditions is deemed unlawful, void or unenforceable for any reason, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable with the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions being unaffected.

You may not assign any agreement concluded under these terms without the prior written consent of BesserTrim.
